NEET 2025 - How the exam is going to be ?

NEET 2025 Exam Pattern:
This is a 3-hour exam(180 minutes) that is a Pen and Paper mode(OMR-based) conducted by NTA for medical admissions. The exam syllabus consists of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects.
According to the scheme of marking of the NEET exam, each question carries 4 marks and a 1 mark negative for the wrong answer. Out of 200 total questions, one should answer 180 questions from 3 main subjects : PCB. The Chemistry and Physics section has 45 questions each, 90 questions from the biology section.
Exams will be conducted in a single day and in a single shift.
NEET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The admission eligibility criteria for NEET exam :

- 10+2 is the minimum qualification. One should pass class 12 with PCB subjects i.e Physics, Chemistry, Biology. There is relaxation for reserved categories, that would be a minimum percentage of 40-45%
2. Age Limit:
- 17 years is the minimum age for admission in this course.
- 25 years is the upper limit for admission in this course. Relaxation is there for candidates who belong to reserved categories.
3. Entrance Exam:
- Qualifying entrance exams is mandatory. Candidates can either clear NEET i.e National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.
Who Will Conduct NEET 2025?
NEET 2025 will be conducted by NTA(National Testing Agency). NTA is the governing agency that conducts the examination of NEET and other major entrance exams in India.
