About BUMS
BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery) is a professional degree in the Unani system of medicine. It focuses on natural healing methods based on ancient Unani principles that emphasize balance of body humors and holistic healthcare.
The program spans 5.5 years, including 4.5 years of academic education and one year of mandatory internship. During the internship, students gain practical clinical training in Unani hospitals and healthcare centers, developing skills in diagnosis, regimental therapy, herbal medicine and patient care under expert supervision.
