    NEET (UG) – National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is the single, national-level entrance examination conducted for admission to undergraduate medical and allied health science courses across India. It serves as the mandatory qualifying exam for students aspiring to pursue MBBS, BDS and AYUSH courses (including BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS and BNYS) in government, private, deemed and central universities.

    Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), NEET provides equal opportunity to students across India through a single standardized examination system.

    The NEET UG syllabus for 2026 is based on the final Class 11 & 12 NCERT curriculum prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and conducted by NTA.

    🔭 Physics (Class 11 & 12)

    • Class 11: Physical World & Measurement, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work-Energy-Power, Rigid Body Motion, Gravitation, Properties of Matter, Thermodynamics, Oscillations & Waves.
    • Class 12: Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction & AC, Electromagnetic Waves, Optics, Modern Physics (Dual Nature, Atoms & Nuclei), Electronic Devices.

    🧪 Chemistry (Class 11 & 12)

    • Physical Chemistry: Mole concept, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Kinetics, Electrochemistry, Surface Chemistry.

    NEET UG 2026 Admission Process

    Official Notification

    NTA releases the official NEET UG 2026 notification with eligibility criteria, exam pattern and syllabus details.

    02

    Online Registration

    Fill the online application form at the official NTA NEET website. Upload required documents and pay the application fee before the last date.

    03

    Application Correction

    Use the correction window (if announced) to edit permitted fields in your application form.

    04

    Admit Card Download

    Download your admit card from the official website before the exam date. Verify all details carefully.

    05

    NEET UG Examination

    Appear for the offline (pen & paper) examination at your allotted exam center on the scheduled date.

    06

    Answer Key & Result

    NTA releases the provisional answer key, followed by final result and All India Rank (AIR).

    07

    Counselling Registration

    Register separately for All India Quota (MCC) and/or respective State counselling authorities.

    Choice Filling & Seat Allotment

    Select preferred colleges and courses. Seats are allotted based on rank, category and availability.

    Document Verification & Admission

    Report to the allotted college with original documents, complete verification, pay fees and confirm your admission.
