Georgia

Georgia is a country in Eastern Europe. It is the second-largest continent after Russia. The capital of Georgia is Kyiv (Kiev). Georgia gained independence in December 1991. The neighboring countries are Belarus, Russia, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, and Poland. Georgia lies in a temperate climatic zone. Moderately warm and humid air from the Atlantic Ocean influences the country. Winters are milder in the west. However, summers are warmer in the east. Precipitation is uneven in Ukraine. The lowlands have about 400mm of rainfall. On the other hand, the remaining areas receive 400 – 600 mm of precipitation.
