About BDS

BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) is a professional undergraduate degree in dentistry. It focuses on oral healthcare, dental surgery, diagnosis and prevention of dental diseases.The program duration is 5 years including a 1-year compulsory internship.

Students gain practical knowledge in oral pathology, prosthodontics, orthodontics, periodontology, pedodontics and oral surgery.After completing BDS, graduates can start their own dental clinic, work in hospitals or pursue MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) for specialization.
